Melanie is a miracle worker!

After two years of being stalked, attacked, my home robbed, my property damaged and my son in peril due to an ex-husband with a narcissistic personality disorder, I received a call one day that changed my life. My attorney told me that my ex-husband had been arrested for intimidating my son and that... I really needed a special attorney to handle my case. He told me that some cases are just too tough for the ordinary family law attorneys and require attorneys who are trained to handle the more difficult divorce situations. He referred me to Melanie Reichert and it was the best legal advice he could have given me. Over the course of a year, Melanie helped me to turn around a situation in which my ex-husband and his attorney were bullying my son and I. When my ex-husband had my son arrested from high school for refusing to visit with him and a judge failed to see the insanity of that situation, I began to lose hope. Prior to Melanie taking our case, my ex-husband's attorney had somehow convinced a judge that my ex-husband was the victim. They even asked the court to require that I pay for a PC and they insured that it was a PC that would support my ex-husband's cause. My son and I lived for two years in hell, fearing for our safety each day and never knowing what might happen to him next. My son became depressed by the constant attacks by my ex-husband. Melanie took action quickly to provide quick, concise and strategic advice on how to best approach the situation. She was calm and a voice of reason. She understood that my goal was for my son and I to live in peace. Melanie recommended a psychological assessment of the our family which helped provide the information needed to show the instability of my son's father and she helped us show the corrupt behavior of the counselor. In less than a year, I was able to gain legal and physical custody of my son. Melanie is a good listener, focused, attentive to your situation and works hard to provide you with guidance throughout the entire process. Today, my son is happy and has received a wonderful scholarship to attend college. I thank God everyday for putting Melanie in our path. I am convinced her counsel saved the life of my child. I will be forever grateful for Melanie's counsel during a very difficult time and I highly recommend her services to those facing difficult family divorce situations.

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
