My entire career has been devoted to helping people who don’t know where to turn when they have been injured or lost a friend or a member of their family. An experienced lawyer, who exclusively handles serious injury and wrongful death cases, does make a difference.
Â
Â
I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. After I graduated from Indiana University, I worked as a law clerk and investigator for Tabor, Fels, & Tabor. After graduating from Indiana University School of Law I immediately began developing my practice by representing individuals, not insurance companies, who had been injured or lost a loved one through no fault of their own.
Â
Â
For over 25 years, my practice has focused exclusively on representing victims injured by negligence and families who have lost loved ones due to the carelessness of others. I've represented thousands of injured victims and/or families due to motor vehicle collisions, semi-tractor trailer collisions, slip, trip and fall occurrences and construction site fatalities.
Â
I've tried several cases to juries receiving verdicts that far exceeded pretrial settlement offers and insurance coverage. I've also resolved several cases involving multi-million dollar recoveries for individuals, as well as families, who have been victims of someone else’s negligence.
In addition to being a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice, I am AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell and was named an Indiana Litigation star by Benchmark Plaintiff. I've been selected to the Indiana Super Lawyers list, named as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America and selected to the Nation's Top One Percent of attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. I am active in the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, and serve as a frequent lecturer and author on current issues and new developments in personal injury/insurance litigation, including how-to handle uninsured and underinsured motorist cases, special issues in automobile cases and how to handle a Wrongful Death estate in Indiana.
Â
Â
My wife Karen and I reside in Fishers, Indiana with our two sons, Luke and Sam, both of whom attend St Louis de Montfort Catholic School. When I'm not golfing, fishing or spending time with my family, I'm helping out with my son’s Boy Scouts of America troop, and coaching their baseball teams.
Â
Â
I've helped hundreds of victims of vehicular accidents, construction site accidents, and injured persons for more than 25 years. When a life changing injury occurs, prospective clients and attorneys across the state come to me for advice on how to successfully represent personal injury and wrongful death victims. If you or a loved one have been injured, I am ready to help you seek justice for your case.
