Marco A. Moreno is a partner at Moreno & Villarrubia LLP’s Indianapolis office. He is the Chari of the firm's EB-5 Global Business team, Immigration and Global Mobility Practice Group, and the firm’s Corporate Department. He advises corporate clients on proper immigration benefits for their foreign-born employees, student and employer obligations and responsibilities under state and federal laws and regulations, including I-9 compliance, E-verify, no-match letters, and related anti- discrimination compliance and violation prevention. He plans and prepares applications for labor certification with the U.S. Department of Labor and related nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions with a focus on engineers, medical professionals and researchers, persons with extraordinary ability and with skills warranting national interest waivers. He prepares family-based immigrant visa petitions for individual clients in all family-sponsored categories. Mr. Moreno’s experience with various visas is extensive, including:EB-5, E-1, E-2, H-1B, H-2B, L-1A, L-1B, O-1, P-1, TN-1, TN-2, as well as PERM Labor Certification Applications and Employment Based Permanent Immigration (all categories). His practice also includes international adoptions, a complex area of U.S. and international laws.
Mr. Moreno’s clients benefit from this breadth of knowledge because he formulates strategies by drawing on legal arguments from all areas of immigration law, including employment, family, naturalization, student visas, asylum and removal defense. Mr. Moreno is a native of Mexico and his distinctive language skills and understanding of international business environments are instrumental in providing his clients with effective counsel and representation.
Mr. Moreno has received numerous professional awards throughout his legal career, including the Forty under 40 Award from the Indianapolis Business Journal, bestowed upon professional leaders who have achieved success and excelled in their field before the age of 40; the Rising Star Award in Immigration Law from Indiana Super Lawyers, awarded to the top outstanding, emerging lawyers in a given discipline; the Indiana University Public Service Recognition Award, conferred upon lawyers for pro bono or provision of public service; and the Diversity in Practice Award from Indiana Lawyer, awarded to top lawyers who demonstrate a commitment to being a champion of diversity and inclusiveness throughout his/her legal career. Mr. Moreno also completed the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class XXXIII of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Moreno is appointed to represent the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis by the Mexican secretary of foreign relations.
Active in the community, Mr. Moreno is an appointed co-chair of the Latino Advisory Council for Office of Congressman Andre Carson; board and founding member of Indiana Latino Expo Inc.; past chair and founding member of the Latino Affairs Committee of the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA); chair of the International Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association; board member of the Latino Coalition Against Sexual & Domestic Violence; consumer protection chair and LGBT member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association; on the diversity subcommittee of ISBA and a member of the Diversity Outreach Program of Indianapolis Bar Association (IBA); and an appointed board member of the Crime Prevention Grant Board.

stay away from Marco. I see some of the reviews here are good probably because that were the days he knew what he was doing. I have experience with Marco from 2018-to 2021.
