Daniel Winston Kiehl

Dan is an experienced attorney who concentrates his practice in all legal issues involving children, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, adoptions, and guardianship issues.  Dan also represents clients with varied criminal charges from license suspensions to those charged with major felonies.

When working with Dan, clients may expect the following:

• To have an advocate who is invested in their case;
• To be able to speak directly with Dan about the issues that arise in their case;
• To be kept updated on their case;
• To receive honest and frank advice about what the client can expect if the case were to be tried before that client's particular judge, and what should be done to provide the client the best opportunity to achieve that client's particular goals.

Dan is involved in a number of project with the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association, and also serves as a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for Kid's Voice of Indiana.  

Dan is a requested speaker for the National Business Institute where he lectures on family law issues.  In May, 2015 he co-presented a seminar involving the tax implications of selling/transferring a farm as a result of a divorce, and in May, 2016 he will be co-presenting a seminar about divorce settlement agreements.
