She may have been good once but that time has since passed. Says she will fight for you during the consultation and go to trial if necessary. Pretty sure she's only done 1 trial in the last 1 to 1 1/2 years. Makes you believe that your case would be better off plead out. Really doesn't care about get...ting the best end result for you. Just wants to close your case out quickly. I did not feel like she was working for me on my side. She is not motivated to fight for you. Save yourself the money and hire a small firm that actually cares. These guys advertise that they are a big firm with a small firm approach. Client communication is lacking. Kathie nor her paralegal, Kendra, bothered to keep me updated on the case. Anytime I called, I spoke to a clueless receptionist who never even offered to send a message with my concerns or questions. Overall, terrible experience. My case may have been small fish to these guys but it was a lot for me having never been in trouble before. Maybe I wouldn't have a conviction if this lawyer had done her job. Hoping this doesn't happen to anyone else. Whole time she represented me, I felt she was distracted by whatever she had going on in her personal life. I didn't feel like my case was a priority for her even as we stood in the courtroom for my hearings. Her mind was always elsewhere. Got a mediocre result at best because she told me it was the best I would do. Got another opinion after the fact and showed my paperwork to another attorney who did more for his client with the same charge/circumstances. Made me realize how unrepresented I was this whole time. Really disappointed knowing this could have had a better result. Would never recommend this lawyer or the firm she works for.
