Disgusted with assigned public defender from Marion County

This was a public defender assigned to my daughter. Not at any point has she made an effort to reach out to my daughter who is currently incarcerated since her case was assigned to her over a year ago. No discovery, evidence, mail....nothing. I have tried and tried to reach out to her on my daughters... behalf to let her know at all times where my daughter was located only to speak to secretary time and time again. Many times I call Mrs. Rios is out of state for more than a week at a time or she is out due to family emergencies a bit much for an attorney. After a year of talking only with her secretary am I informed by the secretary that Mrs. Rios does not return phone calls and she only will talk to you only by appointment. I was flabbergasted. At this point I advised my daughter to let the judge know of her lack of correspondence with her and complete lack of her right to have proper (pauper) counsel for her defense.
