CON ARTIST

Hired this lawyer for a custody and child support case. After paying the 1,200 up front this lawyer stopped answering phone calls and emails even when i was sending him new evidence as case was going on. On the trial day he didnt even show up to court. Needless to say I fired him the next day as it w...as even suggested to me by literally everyone in that courtroom. When i asked for my money back he said for me to come back in a week to get it and then DIDNT SHOW for that either. He wont return calls or anything. This man is a con artist. DO NOT USE HIM

If I could give 0 I would

I was assigned Keith A. Fricker through the Xenia District attorney's office as a public defender, and my experience with him was far from satisfactory. Initially, there was a communication breakdown, but this was due to my changing contact information rather than his negligence. However, once we did... get in touch, I found Keith to be overwhelmingly unprofessional and dismissive. He has a very rushed demeanor, which came across as him being disinterested in my case and my circumstances. Despite known logistical challenges, such as transportation issues, he had no empathy or understanding, which resulted in him ridiculing me for being late to my court date. Keith's attitude was outright despicable; he spoke in a manner that was highly disrespectful and condescending. At times, he made me feel as if he doubted my mental capacity, despite my ability to articulate my situation clearly. Furthermore, this was all before we had even met face-to-face to discuss my case adequately. His behavior made me question whether there were underlying racial biases affecting his interactions with me. Counsel from the courts replaced my original lawyer with Keith at the last minute, and I am still baffled by this decision. He barely took the time to understand my side of the story, and instead, his primary focus was on pushing me to accept a guilty plea. This lack of genuine interest in my case and his failure to explain the full spectrum of my legal situation left me feeling unsupported and misrepresented. In conclusion, I would not recommend Keith A. Fricker for any legal representation, especially in criminal cases. His lack of respect, understanding, and basic professional decency makes him unworthy of trust in such critical legal matters. I plan to explore options to appeal my case, as I believe the outcome was unjustly influenced by inadequate representation. If you're considering Keith Fricker for your defense or any legal issues, my advice would be to rethink and seek a more accountable and respectful attorney. Your legal representation should fight for you, not against you.

If this is the client I think it is. Yes I was short with the client because she was almost an hour late for court stating she is not a morning person. I took this case over due to the client not getting along with her previous counsel. The case originated from her showing up to court three hours late was arrested on a capias issued by the court. While being arrested she assaulted one of the security officers at the court. Now she wants to blame me on her representation and her admission that I am racially bias. That is completely false. Was I short with her when she was late to court, yes due to me calling several times saying she only a few minutes away and showed up with a starbucks in her hand almost an hour late. To blame my representation on her lack of respect for the court is wrong. I spoke to her once she finally contacted my office with her number number and discussed the facts with her and she was the one who stated she was responsible for her actions against the court officer. She admitted her responsibilty to the court and freely and voluntairly admitted her guilt. I in no way forced her to plea or push her into pleading because of any racially bias toward to her. This review is unfair and not true. If she would like to discuss what can be done to change her opinion I would gladly talk to her offline and resolve any problem she had. However to call me racially bias is uncalled for and hurtful. Finally she never hired me or paid me for representation. I agreed to take the case over from the previous attorney who had problems with her and to stated she hired me is false. I was trying to help her.

Good Luck

Took him forever to file the papers for my dissolution even though he was paid in full in advance. It has been over 9 months since then and he still has not filed the quit claim papers that were supposed to be filed the day the divorce was final. He does not return any calls and neither does his se...cretary. She always makes excuses for him.

The Dissolution matter was handled within the time she wanted but the Quit Claim deed was a separate matter. I am sorry this client was disappointed.

Do not use this attorney

Where to begin,, wants his money up front, but wont do anything for you,, will not return phone calls or work for you in any way, didnt keep me informed of anything about my case. Called his office and whoever answers the phone states she takes your message and that he doesn't have a secretrary,, we...ll I paid for his service not a secretary's service,, I would not recommend him to anyone,,, and will not use this attorney ever again, He came highly recommended and I was very disappointed with his services.

Client came to me several months after she and her husband got into financial problems which occurred well in advance of contacting my office.

Incompetent

He took money up front . He filed items in my lawsuit that weren't suppose to be in it . Now coming up to only a few days in divorce court and he can't be bothered to return 5 voicemails . Same as other reviewers . Secretary makes a thousand excuses for why this guy can't be bothered to do the job he...'s been paid for !

Divorce is an emotion legal matter and all potential issues were stated up front in case whether or not client wanted them, if not asked for then client waived those items and did not want client to lose their rights.
