I had a little girl left with me (but not biologically mine) from a previous marriage for 6 years when all of the sudden her biological mom came out of the woodwork to see her daughter. I got April’s name from a person my current husband works with and from the first time we met, April assured me tha...t everything was going to be okay. I had talked to at least 8 other attorneys that said that I should give up hope because the biological mother was going to win or they weren’t confident that they could win the case. But not April.
