April worked on my residential parenting case that resulted in a victory for my son and me. I live in Columbus and my case was in Clinton County, where my ex-wife lives. The odds were certainly not in our favor, to say the least. A father trying to gain residential parent status 1.5hrs away from t...he mother.... The first visit I had with April I asked if my case was worth taking, she said yes. I then asked if she would take the case even if she knew that the outcome would be a loss, she said absolutely not and to get a second opinion if I wanted. Needless to say that I did not get a second opinion and decided that April was the right attorney for me. Over the next year or so she checked in once a month or so to make sure I didn’t have any questions or if anything new pertaining to the case came up. Anytime I had a question or needed to consult I could call or email and knew that I would get a response typically the same day, if not the next day. Long story short April was great to work with and she got the job done! Fingers crossed I never have to use her again but if that changes, without hesitation April will be the one I call.

April was very personable , honest and informative. She said we must work. With the facts and she was right, the facts speak for the case at hand. She always kept me informed and advised me to the best case advice. But she always made it my decision which she always said she would support my decision... . I felt she always was working toward my best interest in all matters. My case was very difficult and many things were unexpected , but she kept moving forward for my own good. I would recommend her to anyone who needed a great lawyer !! I absolutely love April, she treats you like a friend that she is totally working for your best interest , she is great !!!

April represented me in a child custody case. I had made some terrible choices in my life which resulted in me having supervised visitation with my children. Within a few weeks of my retaining April, the supervised visits were dropped from the order since I am doing well and have turned my life aro...und. I thought it was nearly impossible to even consider having custody of my children, but April had faith in me that I wanted to do what’s right for the children and myself. I thought the first time that I lost, it was my fault. I had a work disput which wasnt a big deal concerning a customer that owed me money. I took that one in stride. Then a few months later my divorce came up, I called her weeks leading to the hearing and everything was fine, I was told everything w...as stardard procedure, but when we got to court, I was in the waiting room and I over heard her negotiating with my ex's attoney, saying "I'll pitch this deal to him, I think he'll go for it, I dont care I just want this to be over". I was shocked I didnt know what to do. She stated that it was the only option that I had was to pay my ex for everything, I mean things that we didnt even talk about.. This was not our game plan, then basically told me that she would walk out and not represent me. So in the end I lost about 18k I should have just gave all the accounts over to my ex wife and walked away and not sought out an attorney. I thought that I was fighting for something but all I did was lose more money and create more headaches for myself. I believe if I would of had a different lawyer it would have ended differently, my buddy reffered her bc she was so on top of things for his case in the beginning, but I guess I could count myself lucky because he got it worse than me(finding out just recently). We both make good money and his exwife is getting it all.. Good luck everyone
