Mickenzie R. Grubb was born in Dayton, Ohio, but spent her formative years growing up in Northern California. Mickenzie attended San Diego State University, where she graduated with honors in 2018 with a degree in Criminal Justice, a minor in Business Management, and a Public Law Certificate. After graduation, Mickenzie returned to her Buckeye roots to be closer to family and to attend the University of Dayton, School of Law, where she served first, as a staff member of the Dayton Law Review, followed by a stint on the Executive Board. Mickenzie was also elected to serve a term as the President of the 1L Board, representing her class in the Student Bar Association. In addition, she served as a Dean’s Fellow, leading a learning community of 8-10 first year law students to help them achieve academic success. Mickenzie graduated in May 2021, obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree with a Personal & Family Law Concentration.
Prior to joining the Tibbs Law Office team, Mickenzie worked at a well-known family law firm in the Dayton area for over three years. Mickenzie is looking forward to putting down her roots in this community and growing her career as a family law attorney.
