An honest and effective lawyer-Richard Norton

In order to provide the general scenario, during 2012 I was entangled in an automobile accident which resulted in my sustaining several broken bones. Of the damaged bones, two required surgical and mechanical repairs. The most severely injured bone was the right radius at the point it connects with t...he hand. Simply stated, the end of the bone was pulverized. Up to the moment of the accident, my method of generating income had been accomplished through the combination of designing and then physically making one of a kind pieces of jewelry. Most of the assorted processes required for the making of jewelry demand great strength in both hands and, to an even greater degree, very finely developed motor skills. From the instant of the accident, the strength on both sides of my body (due to the multiple breaks of bones) began a rapid decline. Even more to the point, anything that might be thought of as a fine motor skill in my right hand became inaccessible. My ability to make jewelry was effectively eliminated. With great thanks to a wonderful friend,I was referred to Richard Norton. During our initial meeting, Richard clearly laid out the general scenario as he saw it and what I might realistically anticipate regarding any insurance-related issues, potential timeline and ultimate settlement. I’m noting below attributes regarding Richard’s legal counsel that immediately come to mind: He struck me as being infinitely methodical and organized…an attribute I wish I could more effectively put to practice in my own life. He personally kept me updated regarding anything related to the insurance claim and was always receptive to any questions or concerns I had. I never recall having felt any hesitance in contacting him at any time. No matter what the level of monetary compensation, it can never adequately compensate for the loss of a person’s ability to carry on in his or her profession. But when faced with this grim scenario, the reality must ultimately be faced. The realization of what Richard accomplished and did for me occurred more after the fact than before the settlement. It was more following the settlement than beforehand that I realized just how much Richard had done for me. Along the way, he dealt with and silenced several collections firms that were demanding immediate payment from the onslaught of medical bills, convincing them to hold on until a settlement was reached with the other driver’s insurance company. He, in effect, held the wolves at bay which was a great relief for me at that time. Even more notably, Richard went all out and negotiated with my medical insurance company as well as the many medical providers looking to gather more than less. He was able to work with them and reduce what was being demanded to far more agreeable sums. Without his having done so, I would likely have received no compensation…I expect essentially all of it would have been taken in by the medical and insurance providers as well as the collection agencies. He went to the mat for me with the insurance provider of the other driver who caused the accident, taking on a very slippery insurance adjustor who ultimately proved to be extremely difficult. I’m convinced that Richard worked out a settlement as productive for me as might possibly have been realized. I know for a fact that I could never have seen this situation through to anything resembling a good conclusion without having had excellent legal counsel. In this case, not only were Richard’s abilities, diligence and professionalism first rate…they were fantastic! To the person seeking legal counsel, I most highly recommend Richard Norton. What he accomplished for me I still feel to have been amazing.

"I highly endorse Richard Norton in the practice area of personal injury, which includes product liability and medical malpractice. Richard was my supervisor and coworker at a previous firm. As head of litigation, he had many years of experience and success in not only personal injury but also commercial and consumer litigation. Richard was a great mentor in the strategies and tactics of litigation, mediation and arbitration. As a zealous advocate for clients for many years, he developed a reputation for professionalism among the lawyer community and was elected President of the Southwest Ohio Trial Lawyers Association, which is the association of attorneys whose practice emphasizes plaintiffs/ personal injury work. A person seeking litigation counsel would be in good hands with Richard Norton,"
