Biography
I am a business and startup lawyer, and my practice focuses on startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses. My services include advising entrepreneurs on company formation, drafting and negotiating contracts, commercial real estate leases, employment law issues, venture capital financing, and technology law (website terms of service, privacy policies, etc.).
I am a 1982 graduate of the University of Michigan, and earned my law degree from Boston University in 1986. I also have an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, and several years of business experience. I have started and run three businesses, and have experience in industries as diverse as consulting, apparel, retailing, home furnishings, e-commerce, and food/beverage. I love helping people start and run their businesses.
In my free time, I do yoga, like to travel, cook, and watch a lot of Michigan football and basketball (but I'm happy to take clients from rival schools). I'm also a lifelong Reds and Bengals fan.
