It's unfortunate that I didn't know about this site before hiring Jesse Jackson Jr who was advertised in the yellow pages as DUI lawyer. This attorney was paid in full to represent me in a criminal case and he did absolutely no foot work at all, unresponsive to a good portion of questions/emails, fai...led to deliver on tasks he said he would complete, didn't use any of the information provided, failed to return calls of witnesses provided and gave incorrect information about the law in my case and ultimately never defended me on the original root cause of the case. This attorney does not have liability insurance and was misleading about his criminal defense experience and reputation. It is strongly advised that you do not hire this attorney for any legal representation.

My family and I sought this attorney out to do some work for us. We found him through our employer referral program. We met, discussed the case, wrote a check for retainer and hired him. The case was supposed to be completed within 90 days. Soon after we met, Jesse was unresponsive to a number of e...mails and calls. It's been over 1 year and our documents and case are not finalized. After further investigation we have confirmed he is not in good standing with the law and perhaps behind bars due to similar situations. He is showing as active in practicing law through the bar association and I don't know why but do not hire him. He will not provide any services and you will not get your money back.
