Geoffrey Wayne Pittman

Since being admitted to the practice of law in 1991, I have successfully represented clients facing traffic and criminal prosecutions in municipal, state and federal courts throughout southern Ohio.  I founded the Law Office of Geoffrey W. Pittman Co., LPA in 2000.

I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I’ve lived here all my life.  I graduated with Honors from the University of Cincinnati, and while a pursued my law degree I worked as the law clerk for a Judge sitting on the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas.  This experience has enabled me to see both the academic and practical aspects of representing clients; a good lawyer must know the law, but a good lawyer must also know the courtroom.

I have appeared in Common Pleas Court, Municipal Court, County Court, and Mayors Court - and in the following jurisdictions in Ohio: Hamilton County, Butler County, Clermont County, Warren County, Adams County, Brown County Clinton County, Muskingum County, Butler County Area I, II, and III Courts.

Although a large proportion of my practice is dedicated to representing clients at the trial level, I do a great deal of my work before Courts of Appeal in the First, Second, Third, Fourth and Twelfth Appellate Districts in Ohio.  Another significant portion of my practice is made up of clients facing Federal criminal charges in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio as well as the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

I am a committed, experienced and aggressive trial lawyer who represents people in all areas of criminal, traffic and DUI / OVI / DWI law.  I am a respected criminal defense lawyer in the greater Cincinnati area and a member of the Greater Cincinnati Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association as well as the Ohio State Bar Association.
