Biography
Dominic Donovan is GAL Counsel in the Guardian ad Litem Division of the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office.
Mr. Donovan began his legal career as a law clerk at The Children’s Law Center in Covington, Kentucky. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Donovan assisted counsel in the representation of criminal defendants in capital cases. Prior to joining the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Donovan established a solo legal practice with an emphasis on Guardian ad Litem representation.
As GAL Counsel, Mr. Donovan represents children’s best interests in Dependency Court cases where abuse, neglect, or dependency is alleged. Additionally, Mr. Donovan is a parent surrogate for children on his caseload that require special education services
