Brian Joseph Butler

Brian Butler has practiced civil litigation for more than 15 years since graduating cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2007. He is a native of Cincinnati, where he graduated from St. Xavier High School. He studied history and political science at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He lives with his wife Amy and their dogs, Phil and Carl, in East Walnut Hills.

Brian has represented a wide variety of clients in various areas of civil litigation, including employment, personal injury, and commercial. He has significant experience representing employees and executives in litigation involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and non-compete agreements. He has also represented clients in complex financial disputes and contractual disputes. Brian has also represented clients in complex personal injury matters, where he has secured several recoveries in excess of $2,000,000.

Brian is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, the Southern District of Ohio, the Northern District of Ohio, the Southern District of Indiana, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has also represented clients in federal course in other jurisdictions, including Kentucky.
