Amanda Marie Burgess

Amanda Burgess joined Burnside Brankamp Law, LLC in Portsmouth as an associate attorney after dedicating a decade to representing personal injury clients. Over her twenty-plus-year career, she has settled and litigated thousands of cases across Ohio, from car and trucking collisions to wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Selected as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star for five consecutive years (2017–2021), she combines courtroom acumen with compassion for families affected by negligence. Licensed in Ohio and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, she is active in the Portsmouth Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice and American Association for Justice. Ms. Burgess graduated cum laude from the University of Cincinnati and earned her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2008.
