[by appointment only]

I've practiced law since 1985, both as owner/operator of my own offices & as a managing and/or associate attorney in several law firms. I've lived in the Miami Valley my entire life. I was born in Union City, Indiana. I received my undergraduate degree at Morehead State University in Kentucky and my law degree at the University of Dayton. My favorite recreation is motorcycle touring. I also love to read and study history. Bible study is a favorite of mine. I have worked with special needs children for over 30 years within the legal setting, in juvenile and domestic relations courts involving custody disputes. I like people and know and understand their problems, as you can tell from the areas in which I practice.

As a solo practitioner, you deal only with me, no paralegals or assistants. This allows me to provide a "personal touch" to your legal representation other law firms only promise but are unable to deliver. The attorney/client relationship is a team effort. Your active participation in your case is essential for effective representation. Suggestions, questions & ideas are welcome & encouraged at Monte K. Snyder, Attorney. Your legal issue is important to you & should be of equal importance to your attorney. Legal advice/counseling will allow you to make intelligent decisions regarding your case development at every stage of your case. Come see what a difference the "personal touch" can make in the delivery of legal services.

Hourly Legal services from $180.00 to $200.00 per hour, billed to the nearest tenth of an hour. Many comparable attorneys' fees are $250 to $325 per hour and more.   COMPARE - WHY PAY MORE?

Marital Dissolution, Document Preparation are billed as a Flat Fee (no hourly billing), plus costs and expenses.

  • Quality legal services delivered at an affordable price with a "personal touch".

  • Calls are returned promptly.

  • Appointments can be made at any time that is convenient to you.

  • I'm always available by phone & email.

  • Clients receive copies of all pertinent documents, are billed regularly, and kept apprised of their case’s status.

You will receive a written estimate for the average cost of your typical legal services upon contract for legal services.

  • Lee Alan Thompson

I endorse Mr. Snyder as an attorney. I have of reviewed his responses here and have found his answers to be thorough and well-reasoned. While I put down I am doing this in the area of divorce/separation, Mr. Snyder does not limit his practice to domestic relations. He is also a probate attorney and engaged in it and related areas of law.

With decades of experience and a great blog and web site, it easy to see that attorney Snyder cares about making sure his clients get solid advice and help when it comes to Domestic Relations Law and more. He really does give personal attention to his client's needs, as seen from his client reviews posted online and the info on his website and his published answers to consumer questions at If you have a DR Law question, he's your answer. If his office is anywhere near you, I recommend him to you.
