Renee Louise Crist

During the toughest time of my life, Renee walked me through the process and helped prepare me for what was ultimately a trial. Without her I would not have been able to approach the trial with the calm and preparedness I had. She prepared me for reality and ultimately made sure my children were safe... and protected. I can never fully express how much her actions meant to me.

During a very difficult season of life I had the pleasure of meeting Renee. She was always extremely professional yet always seemed compassionate for the situation that I was in that caused our paths to cross. As we walked into the proceeding our final day together I felt a confidence that without he...r I would not have. Again she presented on my behalf a very professional and concise case. I was and remain extremely pleased with her services.

The entire process divorce is draining, time consuming, and stressful. Renee understands this as well as be extremely versed in family law. Never once during this process did she ever fail to be my advocate. As the process drags on, you feel overwhelmed, frustrated and tired. You think, "I just w...ant this done." Renee was honest, caring, always inquired as to how I was doing, and always had me and my children first as her client. She was quick to respond and even contacted me on Sundays both by phone and email. She was extremely educated in the details of family law and never hesitated to respond appropiately advocating for my children and me. Renee never once backed down when issues came up. I recall one time when things were tough and I wanted to say, "whatever." Renee said, "you are not doing that!" When I could only see what was right in front of me, Renee not only saw the immediate but she had my and my children's future in mind. This entire process in awlful and heartbreaking but I could not have asked for a stronger warrior on my side. Renee is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!

I would like to write about Renee from two aspects, my observations as she represented a member of my family and my experiences as she helped me clear up the legal ramifications of my wife's death. Firstly, I was present when she both prepared and represented my daughter in the Family Court. Renee p...repared her with great patience going through particular points as many times as necessary for my daughter's understanding. Then at the Court hearing she assertively made points almost, but not quite, to the annoyance of the Judge. She really looked after my daughter's interests to very fullest extent. Secondly, she helped me clear up the legal ramifications of my wife's death. This was completely outside her field of expertise so she took the time to find out what was necessary and she did all this out of the kindness of her heart. I will be eternally grateful for help she gave me and the compassion she showed me.

If you are reading this review, and basing your selection of a divorce attorney on mere economics, please recognize… there are no “do overs”. Moreover, you are about to engage in one of the most potentially challenging experiences of your life, one that will impact your future financial and personal... wellbeing. Perhaps most importantly, if you have them, it will affect the welfare of your children for years to come. That said… after 17 months of contentious divorce litigation, I can unequivocally state the following regarding Ms. Crist; Number one, she is highly competent. I won on virtually every issue that was of utmost importance to me and my children. I explicitly trust her expert opinion. Number two, she communicates thoroughly and in a timely manner. I always felt well informed of what was expected of me and what I could expect at each and every stage of the process. At all times, I felt that my best interests were being represented in a proactive manner. Number three, last but certainly not least, Ms. Crist honestly cares about her clients and their outcomes. She is therefore highly motivated and quite dedicated. One does not receive the quality of service that I received from Ms. Crist throughout the entirety of this process, from someone who is merely “doing their job” or pushing and filing legal paperwork. I could count on Ms. Crist for her expert legal advice, as well as her experienced and professional opinions concerning personal and family matters that presented themselves throughout the divorce process. There is an old adage “You get what you pay for.” Well… in the case of Ms. Crist, I can honestly state that I received far more than what I paid for. I am confident in authoring this review, because I firmly believe that all of her clients will have a similar experience.
