I used Kristen for a couple of cases with my ex. First was my separation and she was spot on. Got everything I needed for my children. Second time was the best when I was taken to court for child support. My ex wanted me to pay more then my house hold exspenses, health care and 60% of the bills that... we already agreed on. She actually got my ex to pay me instead of the other way around. The other attorney said she had never seen a judge make a decision this way from what my ex told me. I could go on everything she got for my children. So impressed Kristen is not cheap but you get what you pay for. She is also very very busy but also always returns your calls in a timely matter. Just be patient with her. What i found most impressive was how she remembered me on the second case. I called her and she remembered who I was even after 2 years. Like I said she is not cheap at all but when you need the best you will have to pay for the best. Kind of like mac and cheese you never go with the store brand you always go with the best and that is the Blue Box.

I found Kristen to be very last minute and half assed. She got me rent support bs child or alimony and I had pay stubs. You can’t use that for a mortgage or new rental, and my ex was signed as guarantor so he was already legally obligated. When questioned why she waited for the last minute for everyt...hing, she said she was sick of me and I was hostile so she filed a motion to withdraw, which was denied. Lazy attorney who banks on other lawyers staying out of butler country due to their absurd rules. Keep looking. I mediated my own case and spent $5k+ to get that far.

My Ex hired a high priced - cut throat attorney (one of the best, but known for questionable tactics) with the help of her parent’s money. Me being a male in domestic relations court, statistically I felt I was screwed coming out of the gates and saw no chance of winning. Kristen felt otherwise and her and her staff built a rock solid case, and litigated the Ex and attorneys (a few) into the dust.
