If you are looking for someone to represent you then I recommend Chris. He has always taken care of us and is very knowledgeable. He will not steer you in the wrong direction. He knows everything you are saying and listens and remembers. If he is saying not yet or wait then just listen because he kno...ws when to file certain things. Have patience and trust Chris. We unfortunately have had to hire him twice and would a third time if necessary. He is not out to just take your money and truly wants what is best for the children. His price may seem steep, but you really are getting what you pay for.

I didnt feel comfortable with the first attorney I retained so I went looking for a new one. I called Mr Schmitt and we discussed my situation over the phone. I felt that he was honest and straight forward and he made me feel like I had a chance at getting custody of my children so I retained him. W...hen he got ahold of my case it was mess and things didnt look good for me. I was in pretty bad shape all the way around but Chris was always confident and comforting and that is something that is priceless when going through something like this. It took time but Chris put things back together and straightened the mess out. When it was all said and done we settled out of court with me the Father being custodial parent of my three children. I would say that Mr Schmitt knows his way around Wayne county very well and is an excellent choice for any man that has to go through this. Overall he did a great job! My kids are home where they belong. Thank you Mr. Schmitt and Connie too for putting up with me, you wont be soon forgotten.

Chris is a very personable and down to earth lawyer. He will do anything in his power to assist and provide the best leadership possible. He did everthing he said he would do and then some. As in some cases they can be long and drawn out, he was always there to talk with and continued to provide ...what was asked of him in every way. Highly recommend Chris Schmitt and if you want the most for your money he is the best option in Wayne county in my opinion!!
