I didnt feel comfortable with the first attorney I retained so I went looking for a new one. I called Mr Schmitt and we discussed my situation over the phone. I felt that he was honest and straight forward and he made me feel like I had a chance at getting custody of my children so I retained him. W...hen he got ahold of my case it was mess and things didnt look good for me. I was in pretty bad shape all the way around but Chris was always confident and comforting and that is something that is priceless when going through something like this. It took time but Chris put things back together and straightened the mess out. When it was all said and done we settled out of court with me the Father being custodial parent of my three children. I would say that Mr Schmitt knows his way around Wayne county very well and is an excellent choice for any man that has to go through this. Overall he did a great job!
