Steven Scott Fannin

We have used Cole Co LPA for over 9 years for a variety of legal matters. The last several items we've dealt directly with Steve. Generally fine up until this most recent hire. We paid him for a simple transfer and he said due to COVID it could take a little longer to file with the county. Unders...tood. Documents were prepared, signed and notarized and SUPPOSEDLY sent to the county. After weeks of asking him for updates and no response we finally checked with the county ourselves to find out nothing was ever submitted to the county and his excuse of taking months with the county was incorrect. We sent no less than half dozen emails, left voicemails, texted and even tried just showing up at his office to try and catch him in to get the original documents so we could take them ourselves. No response was received to any of our attempts to contact. So now we are left finding another attorney to pay again to have all of this taken care of properly. Not only are we out the money, we are out of time. I will be filing a grievance with the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.

Steven has been POOR representation for our SIMPLE Dissolution of Marriage! Paid $1,800 and he never filed our paperwork on time. I would NOT recommend this guy and he will be reported to the higher ups. He plays games and sucks at what he does. Doesn't return calls, texts or emails. Steer clear ...of this guy!!!!!
