Karen M. Chuparkoff Lefton

I was referred to this attorney because of a conflict of interest with the attorney I was working with and another client. Mrs. Lefton never met me in person, only spoke to me on the phone. We were working on a case concerning a civil service rule violation I discontinued my conversation with her ...after she had the nerve to say that she didn't think I had money in my account to afford $2000-$3000 t opay her. I don't know where that comment came from. She didn't know anything about me, only where I worked. She did not know that I own a Driving School and operate a Driver's Intervention Program. She never met me in person. After telling her that she was being insulting, I informed her that attorneys are not the only people that have $3000 in their account. In fact my children's tuition is $2500 a month! We never talked about my finances. So where did her assumption come from? My voice? That was a judgmental comment and I would never do business with her.

Karen Lefton is working on a case action law suit which deals with promotional processes with public safety personnel where the city is not adhering to the legal rules. Karen is very articulate when she explains your options and does not waste your time. In our law suit there are a number of us an...d she updates us in a timely fashion and ensures that her information is accurate, detailed and effective. The result is not in as yet but we know that with her as our attorney we feel absolutely represented in the court.

She has done an awesome job for my case. I didn't think anyone would take the case and I don't think I'd be where I'm at without her. We've had some frank discussions about the case and sometimes it's not fun to hear what she has to say but she doesn't sugarcoat it. She's kept me apprised of everyth...ing along the way and has been a true asset. I would hire her again and would definitely recommend her to anyone that could benefit from her services.
