Joel A. Holt is an attorney and privacy professional, concentrating his practice in the areas of information security and privacy, corporate governance and transactions, and civil litigation. Attorney Holt graduated from the University of Akron School of Law, magna cum laude, in 2005. Attorney Holt is a prolific writer and has several publications to his credit. Attorney Holt has been a staff attorney for the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals, as well as and an adjunct professor at the University of Akron School of Law and Hiram College. Attorney Holt is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served with honor and distinction.
Prior to practicing law, Attorney Holt proudly served in the United States Air Force. Attorney Holt served with distinction, earning the Air Force Achievement Medal for Meritorious Service and the Humanitarian Service Medal. Attorney Holt received an honorable discharge in 2002 upon his acceptance to law school.
Hailing from the Twin Ports of Duluth, MN / Superior, WI, Attorney Holt has resided in Northeast Ohio since 2002. He is active in civic and church activities, including sitting on the Legal Committee of The Daughter Project, a non-profit recovery home for adolescent victims of human trafficking.
