Thomas Charles Loepp

In working with Tom for over a year on a federal criminal case we were billed for approximately 80 hours of work. We asked a lot of questions and did a lot of research. When we asked questions we frequently got very simplistic answers. We cooperated with the authorities and were told no prison time... would be asked for by the DA. The DA came in hard at the sentencing and Tom was not prepared with any response, nor had he prepared us to have a response even though we asked if we should prepare something. The verdict was not in our favor. After all the time and money we invested with Tom we were shocked at his inability to represent us sufficiently even though he said he had handled federal criminal cases previously. He may be acceptable for general legal work but he was woefully inadequate when it came to representing us in front of the judge.

He was not selling himself to collect... a retainer instead he advised us how to write a letter and address our concerns that he himself was willing to proofread for us and ad his input for no charge. At the same time he was clear that we had his assistance and support in the future if needed. He was clearly knowledgeable and a real guy who spends his weekends driving his children to various activities yet he gave us his cell and said if any questions arise that it was o.k. to reach out to him even on weekends! I will keep his business card safe. His office also accepts several types of credit cards which is great if you need extensive work. I highly recommend him.
