George respresented me on three different occasions, in matters that required attention to detail, as each of the situations was delicate. George managed each of the situations for me in a thorough, in a very head on and fearless manner. I say this because beating around the bush never worked with me. With that said, in my situation George was representing me on cases that surrounded a much bigger issue for me, that I needed to face. While helping with the legal aspect to be managed truly as well as possible, he also made sure that I personally got the help that I needed to become a productive member of society again and cease living the way that I was. Perhaps that isn't the typical review of a criminal defense attorney, but it is EXACTLY what my life needed and I am forever indebted to George for that very reason. Not only did he manage my legal situation, but he helped to save my life.
I'm a retired and disabled veteran. I was wounded in an IED attack that changed my life. I also suffer from crippling PTSD from years of combat. I was arrested and charged federally and was facing 7 years. I hired George because he is an expert concerning PTSD and has an internal working knowledge of VA court programs. George was able to use his experience with veterans and the VA to present treatments for me to the Judge which resulted in a sentence for treatment that has had a positive effect on my life. To my knowledge there has never in the history of Federal Court been such a sentence handed down. George kept me informed at all times and assured me he was there for me. If you're a Veteran and need help call George Keith. He will fight for you.

An excellent lawyer
Please let me give an opinion of George, as I’ve watched a lot of lawyers help my clients over the past 23 years, and George is one of the best. George jumped into action, knew exactly what to do, knew the prosecutor and judge, and got results. I’d hire George again. He’s smart, hard working, effective and cares about you.

My federal case
When I was arrested for felon in possession of ammunition and charged federally me not my family knew what to do. This was all very new to all of us. I was given George's name by a friend an man was it a life saver. I still ended up doing 21 months but that's because of my past criminal history. He was able to get two felonies knocked off my my criminal history which took away points for sentencing since everything federal is on a point system. Hank came to see me every two weeks even if there wasn't anything new to tell me he just wanted to see how I was and where my head was at. He is an AMAZING attorney and now I can call him a friend! Thanks George for all you did for me an my family I won't squander this and be needing your services again lol.

Professional and effective attorney
If you are in need of criminal defense, you are in need of George Keith. He is vastly knowledgeable in the inner workings of the justice system. Experienced, dedicated and empathetic, he will do his best to defend your case, and make you feel you have someone in your corner. He may seem quiet and reserved upon first meeting, but make no mistake, his voice raises when it needs to and his points are made clearly. He advised me of the risks, but always maintained he would fight for me until the end. I believe I received the best possible scenario for my situation, because of the legal representation of George.

A very effective and caring attorney!
As a mental health and chemical dependency counselor I have worked with George Keith and many of his clients over the past 20+ years. George is incredibly perceptive about the dynamics of peoples lives and he is impeccably informed about the law and our judicial system. He employs his perception and skills to not only provide the best defense for his clients but goes beyond to do his best to improve their lives - and often does exactly that.

This guy is the worst! Don’t hire him!
George will return your calls, but he never has anything together. Just walk into his office- that’ll explain where he’s at in his mind. It’s a complete disaster. He was supposed to find out several things pertaining my case & he failed. For one- my vehicle was immobilized & was supposed to be for only 45days. I asked him specifically about having that taking off & he was supposed to check into it. He didn’t. Instead, he gave me some rant about “ohhh it’s the Ohio law, it has to be on for 90days!” WRONG! Judge couldn’t believe I was still paying for a club on my vehicle & that I had gone an extra month with that on! For 2- He is not a “voice”- in fact they call him “whispering George.” He talks about other peoples situations (very unprofessional) rather than yours- giving example after example. He does poorly with doing what he says he’s going to do. I was referred to him from a good friend that used him many years ago. He may have been good back then but this man needs to retire because it’s obvious he’s tired at what he does. Lastly, he was my ride to & from court. I was ordered to the probation department to get that going & was told it may take up to a half hour. George claims his “daughter has an emergency” & hands me money for an Uber! Here I am, almost an hour away from home, in another county wondering when I can get picked up & taken home! The bailiff of the court room couldn’t even believe what he witnessed. The crazy part to all of this is that I hired this guy & paid him $2500 in FULL! This is the worst guy to waste your money on- I promise!

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I needed a lawyer in Portage County for the son of a client who was charged with a drug offense, which included a mandatory prison term of between two and eight years. My client had unwittingly hired a lawyer for his son who was unqualified and made this bad situation significantly worse. I contacted George. He took over the case, undid the damage and worked out a resolution where the young man served a period of probation without any incarceration and will soon be eligible to have the case records sealed."
