I have had the pleasure recently to be represented by JP, with a favorable outcome after having two other lawyers. If I had a question and would email him on the weekend he would reply. Title: Smooth, clear, knowledgeable, affordable fees, convenient method of payment, fast, and delivers quick and positive results! We stumbled for quite a long time figuring out how to arrange my situation: former J-2, divorced from J-1 (with whom the contact is absolutely zero, therefore no docum...ents possible from him), with a overstayed visa, and married to a U.S. Citizen, looking for a waiver requested by the USCIS to the 2-year foreign residence requirement under section 212(e) that I was subject to. We initially contacted just one lawyer we found online that specializes on hard J waiver cases. His fees were not very affordable for us and even though he was very helpful, at the end he didn't seem to have full knowledge of the full range of options and ways to help my case. After realizing this, we decided to look online for more options and testimonials, looking for experiences similar to mine and other lawyers. In this search, we bumped into a success story in a case very very similar to mine in their website, the lawyer firm that conducted the case was in fact Sarmiento's. We contacted him and initially we were surprised that he DOES NOT charge for an unlimited time telephone consultation!, which was unprecedented for us. After this, at the beginning we were skeptical due first to his very affordable fees (compared to the first lawyer we contacted) and convenient choices for method of payment, and second, the apparent simplicity of the proposed solution. But as we decided to go with them, we started to realize we could have a serious chance to solve my otherwise complicated and almost hopeless situation. They were very diligent and prompt for questions, answers and filing the paperwork. They kept the burden, if any, to the necessary minimum. The final happy note came when after only a little bit more than 2 months of initial contact and after 40 days of filing the application, it was approved! I was truly and genuinely happy with the whole process: the cost, the communication and of course, the results. I would highly recommend this lawyer, specially for cases similar to mine.

JP's customer service is outstanding. Imagine having a lawyer with free consultation (not some bullsh1+ where you call in and they don't answer questions until you pay a retainer fee), reasonable rates (he doesn't nickel and dime you on services), excellent communication (JP actually answers the pho...ne or he'll call back in a matter of minutes), and super friendly/personable (probably because he's pinoy/filipino ;) ) while being super professional. When it comes to obtaining a Green Card and you're a legit person/couple, his experience with all his cases will guarantee a U.S. Green Card status.
