Future is here with J P Sarmiento. Who says only grey hair shows wisdom? Who said the younger the attorney is the less experience he has? Absolutely not! Atleast I do not agree. One of the topmost immigration attorney or I should say the Best attorney out there for Immigration; decent, sophisticated,... elegant, helpful and respectful too. I hired JP Sarmiento and Glen Yu with the Sarmiento Immigration Law firm to help me apply for a J-2 waiver of foreign residency requirement (dependent turning 21), so I could consequently file for an H1-B work visa. Previously, my employer and I spoke with an established attorney firm in town on refe...rral (I work in a large city in the Midwest), and found that they were not knowledgeable and were unable to cater to my situation in the least (although they tried to bluff through it). Luckily, I was able to find Mr. Sarmiento’s exceptional firm through research, contacted them and started working with them right around New Year’s. By early January all the required documents were filed, and by the end of January I received a favorable recommendation from the DoS. By the end of February, my waiver application was successfully approved by the USCIS. In the end, I was extremely satisfied with Mr. Sarmiento’s work (and I was hoping for as much, after reading the other reviews). These guys really know what they are doing and have great expertise in immigration law, charge VERY reasonable fees, and on top of that, are absolutely a pleasure to work with (prompt feedback and correspondence, very professional and courteous). First of all, let me thank Mr. Sarmiento and his team for such the outstanding work he has done on my wavier, which got an approval. Thank you very much. I am from New York and I had a lawyer who I paid a lot of money to handle my I601 wavier case. The lawyer was terrible. When he prepared my argu...ment I read it and told him it was not a good case but he did not listen he told me he know what he was doing so I went along. He went along and file the case it was denied. I was very bewildered because I thought that I will be deported. I tried to talk to the lawyer and they did not take my case seriously. They told me I just had to appeal the decision to the AAO, which was very expensive, so I did. It has been over two years now and I have finally received a letter from the AAO stating that the case was filed to the wrong office.
