From the beginning, the experience felt misleading. I initially contacted a different attorney, but this individual ended up handling my case. Pressed for time and resources, I agreed — especially after he claimed to have extensive experience in divorce law. Unfortunately, what seemed like a modest ...retainer quickly became a frustrating and costly journey. Despite my clear desire to resolve things quickly and amicably, he consistently overcomplicated the process. He even spent time digging into my old, perfectly legal visa and recommended hiring an immigration attorney — completely irrelevant to my divorce. It felt like I was being investigated, not supported. Communication was poor throughout. Some key documents were not properly reviewed, which led to a denied motion. A hearing was even scheduled without my knowledge or consent, adding further stress and cost. Most concerning, even when a status conference was approaching, there was no effort to communicate or prepare with me. While it was difficult to reach him directly, the billing invoices always arrived on time. After spending over $7,000 with little to no progress, I chose to terminate the relationship to prevent further financial loss. I found his lack of responsiveness and client focus deeply disappointing. The negative reviews exist for a reason. Don't make the same mistake I did — I strongly encourage others to explore different options.

I hired him based on the statement that he said he won numerous trials. 2 weeks prior to my trial he said he has not won a single criminal trial. He kept trying to get me to take a plea. And I was innocent. He missed two court dates , misunderstood my discovery costing me a month of undue burden.. he... doesn’t review case law.. I fired him and hired someone else and the charges where dismissed... Eric cherry is a joke don’t bother

TURN BACK IR MAKE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE WHEN IT COMES TO LAWYERS. I swear is the WORST. He never updates you, in 6 months only seen office once where hd puts on the fakest show like he ares. Make sure u get fees in writing he tries to change them down the line. He does that with everythi...ng i told u that. And u will say no u didnt eric. His body language is iff the hook. He rolls his eyes shakes his head. After first hearing he came out and left. Was on vacation for 3 weeks never told me he was going. I had to ask him abiut hearing. didnt realize he never told me results about a big deal hearing to me. He lost the easiest case to win. He overtly lies to the point i am reporting him to the board for ethical violations. Never told or asked me in advance but him and other attorney climbed thru window of my home to look at it. No one lives there DO NOT HIRE
