Joe took over my complicated case after previous counsel withdrew representation. He listened, heard what I said, and acted in my best interest. Joe fought with knowledg...e, competence, and uncanny navigation of the legal battlefield. He performed the task for which he was hired and let me live my best life. I’m deeply disappointed in my experience with Joe. While they were once highly regarded and seemed passionate about their work, that no longer appears to be the case. Communication was a persistent issue. E-mails and questions often went unanswered, not just from me but also from opposing counsel, w...hich caused unnecessary delays in the case. It became increasingly clear that attention to detail and client advocacy were no longer a priority. The case stalled for months without progress, and I felt left in the dark more often than not. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to switch to a new legal team, who are now working through everything that had been overlooked or neglected. I sincerely hope Mr. Stafford considers stepping away from active practice if their heart is no longer in it. Clients deserve representation that is responsive, diligent, and committed, not checked out.

Domestic Relations is a circus ........if you have the money ......Hire Joe .....and pray you pull Loeb .....the only honest and wise person I met in 15 years in DR . Most of the people working in DR should be incarcerated judges, magistrates ect....and these "family courts' will decide your fate. Prepare for the Worst hope for the best .......and hire Joe. Divorce is a horrible experience. Emotions run high, thoughts are irrational and fear controls so much of your outlook. Joe did not take away all of the awfulness of divorce, but I can't imagine going through the process with any other attorney. He was compassionate, thoughtful and helped me come to... rational decisions. He told me to sit back and try to go rebuild my life while he took care of the messy parts. He did just that. He also allowed me to make the decision on how aggressive to fight with my ex and her attorney. That may not seem important upon first thought, but it allowed me to walk away with integrity and my head held high. My ex consistently threw in my face some of Joe's public and professional failures, claiming he was a sleazy attorney and a bad guy. Joe is the opposite. He practices law in a very messy and ugly area of law, so there's bound to be high emotions. He is also, in my opinion, the best divorce attorney you could ask for. Joe protected me when I need protection and he ensured that life after divorce would not be completely broken. I cannot say enough about Joe, not only as an attorney, but also how he guided me on a personal level. I feel truly blessed that Joe was on my side of the table. He was the consummate professional. Divorce is ugly, but Joe Stafford made sure it didn't destroy me and that is not limited to finances. He was recommended by a friend and I would recommend him to any person that I care about.
