Before falling in love with the law, Amy was a French teacher for grades 7-12. She loved helping her students understand the complexities and the beauty of the language, and was encouraged by their success. In 2009, Amy transitioned to working for a bankruptcy attorney and right away, she knew she had found her calling. While working as a bankruptcy paralegal and raising her two young children, she attended Seattle University School of Law, and earned her degree in 2014. She opened her own firm right away, eager to serve clients and guide them through the rocky waters of bankruptcy. In 2019, Amy and her children moved to the Toledo, Ohio area to be closer to family. In her free time, Amy enjoys attending her children's concerts and sports games, watching Mariners and Seahawks games, exercising, reading, and learning about her new Ohio home.
