Biography
Jacob A. Estes concentrates his areas of practice to criminal law, domestic relations, estate planning and all areas of probate. Jacob has over twenty years of experience working in the criminal justice system and he is passionate about helping others during their time of need. He spent ten years as a State Parole Officer prior to becoming an attorney and he has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and Juvenile Detention Officer. Jacob is also an Adjunct Instructor with The Ohio State University.
Jacob is a native of Lima, Ohio and graduated from Pilgrim Christian School in 1996. He completed his Associates Degree in Corrections at the Lima Technical College (now James A. Rhodes State College) in 1999. In 2001, he graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2013, he graduated with honors from Capital University Law School. He is a partner at the MacGillivray, Estes & Harvey, LLP in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Jacob resides in West Liberty, Ohio with his wife and three children.
