Just a little over a year ago, I went to Gary ( as I have used his services in the past for my now 22 year old and in obtaining visitation. ) To use his services again, and obtain visitation for my now 10 year old. I had paid up to xxx amount of dollars and was 200 away from getting the ball rolling.... When suddenly my youngest son had a melt down, and his mother realized he needed his dad. Her and I came together for the sake of our son, and worked things out. Shortly there after I called Gary letting him know that I was not going to be in need of his services and explained what had happened and why I was no longer in need. Thinking this was a man of " Integrity " I asked for a refund since his services were never rendered. He said, I will have to get back with you and let you know, I have already started paperwork. I clearly said ok, and hung up the phone rather than get into a heated discussion with the man. Here we are a year later and I have yet to receive any formal phone call as to say, Hey So and so, I've got the money you were asking me to refund and you can come pick it up, since I did do some paperwork in advance I am going to have to charge you for that work. Ok, if you want to charge me a nominal feel for said paperwork you started, that's fine, but to keep $600 of my hard earned cash when I did not need your services after all? C'mon, that's just ridiculous. Sure I could call or go over there and make a complete fool out of myself, but whats the point? I just want my money back, and to warn anyone who decides to hire him and then not need him, he may screw you out of your cash just like he has me. I am not bitter towards the man, I personally have no dog in that fight other than getting my money back. However, as a man who works his ass off everyday and knows how hard money is to come by for some folks, I just wanted to put an honest review out there. Gary Is a good guy, but his business practices are not at the level one would expect from an Attorney.
