Kristine L. Tammaro, Esq. is an Of Counsel attorney with Gavvl Law who brings more than 28 years of legal experience to the firm, having dedicated her practice solely to family law over the last decade. A magna cum laude graduate of New England Law | Boston, Kristine has built a career that spans criminal prosecution, appellate advocacy, civil litigation, family law, and estate planning. She has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 1995 and added the Ohio Bar to her credentials in May 2014.
Kristine's career began with a clerkship at the Massachusetts Superior Court before she joined the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, where she served as an Assistant District Attorney specializing in the Appellate Unit. During her four-year tenure there, she argued more than 60 cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She then spent two years as Agency Counsel for the Massachusetts Parole Board, honing her skills in civil litigation and employment law. That courtroom and appellate background gives her an uncommon command of procedure and persuasive argument — skills that translate directly into assertive, well-prepared representation for family law clients.
Since becoming a licensed Ohio attorney, Kristine has focused primarily on family law, litigation, and estate planning within a general practice setting. She has mastered the art of litigation and negotiation, with a proven track record of settling complex cases favorably and often achieving outcomes that exceed her clients' expectations. The combination of family law and estate planning is a natural fit at Gavvl Law, which serves Ohio families across the full arc of life transitions — from divorce and custody to wills and estate planning.
At the core of Kristine's practice is a single commitment: the client comes first. It is a pledge she makes to every client — that no matter the circumstances, they will receive honest, candid, and respectful treatment along with knowledgeable and assertive representation. She is known for a client-focused approach, taking the time to understand every facet of a client's situation, and for being attentive and responsive, answering inquiries promptly and keeping clients informed throughout the legal process. Family law matters call for a compassionate advocate, and Kristine pairs her assertiveness with genuine empathy during difficult times.
When Kristine sits down with a new client, her primary objective is to earn their trust and provide reassurance, so they leave knowing they have a dedicated advocate in their corner. Through Gavvl Law, she serves clients across Ohio's 88 counties, including families in the Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Dayton metros. Whether you are facing a divorce or planning your estate, Kristine offers seasoned, assertive guidance. Schedule a consultation to discuss your matter.

Hire her! You will not be disappointed!
I hired Kristine a little over two years ago after firing an attorney who had actively made a complete disaster out of my case. Kristine instantly got to work on cleaning up the mess I was left with……and to date, she is still working as ferociously as she began. I cannot say enough good things about ...

Kristine was by far the best, very knowledgeable and a true advocate. It seemed like some of my pervious attorneys were i...
