Elizabeth Warren is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Gavvl Law and a dedicated family law advocate. A cum laude graduate of Capital University Law School, Elizabeth focused her studies on Family Law and Mediation, and she gained hands-on experience early in her career working for Franklin County Children Services, where she handled some of the most sensitive matters that come before a family court. She co-founded Gavvl Law to make modern, accessible family law representation available to Ohio families in all 88 counties.
Elizabeth's practice spans divorce and dissolution, child custody and parenting time, child support, adoption, and grandparents' rights. Her training in both family law and mediation informs how she approaches each case: she looks first for resolutions that protect children and preserve a client's resources, while remaining fully prepared to litigate when a fair agreement is not possible. Clients facing a contested divorce and clients seeking a straightforward dissolution both benefit from her calm, goal-centered guidance.
Elizabeth believes in being more than a legal advisor — she describes her role as a companion and protector for clients during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Her goal-centered approach is built to move clients from chaos to clarity, giving them the tools, resources, and advocacy they need to make confident decisions about their families and their futures. As both a mother and a seasoned attorney, she understands the stakes behind every parenting schedule and support order.
Her client approach mirrors Gavvl Law's founding philosophy: see the person behind the paperwork, keep clients informed and engaged, and demystify a legal process that too often feels designed to confuse. Elizabeth pairs that compassion with the firm's commitment to transparent pricing, flexible payment options, and quick, responsive communication that keeps clients connected to their cases, so quality representation stays within reach.
Licensed in Ohio and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association, Elizabeth represents clients in domestic relations and juvenile courts throughout the state, with deep familiarity in the Central Ohio courts serving the Columbus area as well as Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Dayton. Recognized as part of a Best Lawyers “Firm to Watch” for 2026, she continues to help lead the firm's statewide mission. It was a long road but we got there!
Elizabeth represented me in a very complicated post decree matter. She was my third attorney and I wish she had been the first. We had to contend with an incredibly difficult opposing party but Elizabeth persevered with me. It took more than a year, but in the end Elizabeth was able to reduce my s...

Highly recommend
Elizabeth is amazing. She is able to balance \"tough advocacy\" with a caring perspective. She is very straight forward and takes the time to explain the process. I have had attorneys before, and Elizabeth, by far, has been the most accurate as far as what to expect and how to best advocate for mysel...

Happily Divorced
I hired Elizabeth to help me obtain a divorce from a woman I hadn't had contact with in over a decade. I thought the fact that I didn't know where this person was or how to contact her would surely make things prohibitively complicated, but I left Elizabeth's office after our first meeting feeling as...

Outstanding attorney
She was awesome! Wasn't exactly the easiest divorce case but she did everything in her power for a great outcome would definitely recommend .
"Elizabeth is not only a sharp legal advocate for her clients, but compassionate and sensitive to her clients' needs. I often recommend Elizabeth to those with family law needs, because I trust Elizabeth will provide seasoned advice and empathetic and respectful service. I highly endorse Elizabeth without reservation."
"I have known Elizabeth for several years and have always found her to be an excellent advocate for her clients, as well as a compassionate and thoughtful attorney. I would strongly encourage anyone that needs an outstanding family/domestic attorney to contact her for representation. Elizabeth is a credit to our profession and I happily endorse her for her sterling qualities."
"Ms. Warren is widely respected by her peers and is an excellent attorney and I certainly endorse her as an attorney to meet your legal needs."
"I worked on a case with Attorney Warren as opposing counsel. Needless to say I was very impressed. She was retained on the case quite late in the game but got up to speed very quickly. She advocated her client's position well and we were able to painstakingly draft a settlement over the course of 6 hours on the day trial was to begin. Throughout the process Attorney Warren was proactive in addressing on-going issues between our clients which saved my client (and hopefully hers) significant money. I appreciated her honestly and candor in her dealings with me throughout the case. I strongly recommend Attorney Warren if you are looking for representation in a family law matter."
"Elizabeth Warren is experienced, and is attentive to her clients that work with her. She has been especially helpful and always willing to provide insights in family law and LGBT family law matters."
"Elizabeth is compassionate and driven. She is one of the first attorneys I consider when I have a conflict and have to refer a potential client elsewhere."
"An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community, I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a lawyer who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of her clients and getting them the most favorable result possible."
"Elizabeth gets results. She is a tough, compassionate advocate for her clients. I endorse her without reservation."
