Sue has represented our company though Spooner our TPA on several occasions, and we have won far more times than we have lost. Sue has always been prepared and professional and kept us informed every step of the way. In our most recent case, she informed us that if the claimant lost the appeal, then they would go to common pleas court and try there, and then offered up a settlement amount. Previous experience with Sue in these matters, told me what the claimant's lawyer really thought the claim was worth, and so we weren't caught off guard. Sue has always taken the time to discuss the cases with us, and we feel confident when she is in out corner in these hearings. She even told me that she was holding back a little, because the claimant's attorney brought up the fact that our SHO on the appeal for additional allowance was the same SHO that ruled in favor of the claimant on the initial claim, and was therefore trying to gain an edge from the previous ruling. For my part, I feel I have a good working relationship with Sue, because on a recent occasion when we had a different attorney, I didn't feel as confident as I do with Sue in there. Nothing against the other person, but I am able to discuss the case more freely with her.
James Monast, Workers compensation Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
I endorse Sue Wetzel without hesitation. We have been opposing counsel on several cases over the years. Sue is always very well prepared. She is knowledgeable about Ohio Workers' Compensation and a professional, zealous and effective advocate for her clients.
Phillip Spangler, Litigation Attorney

I firmly believe that Sue is an outstanding attorney and has the respect of her peers. She works diligently to get the best results for her clients at all times. She is driven, enthusiastic and intelligent. In the world of attorneys who represent employers in all aspects of the Ohio workers' compensation system, there are few better than Sue.
