Background: Sean is an experienced attorney in the field of serious personal injury litigation. Now in his fifth year of practice, Sean has worked hand in hand with some of the best attorneys in the country. Recently named a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney by both the National Trial Lawyers and the National Black Lawyers, Sean has worked on many notable cases and received outstanding results for his clients.
Prior to opening Walton + Brown, LLP, Sean was an attorney with The Cochran Firm, the prestigious firm founded by legendary attorney Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. During this time he was also Of Counsel with an Ohio based law firm specializing in serious personal injury cases. Early in his career he gained experience handling cases ranging from criminal defense to employment law and small business matters. Sean has also worked for a Federal District Court Judge in Cincinnati, Ohio as well as an Employment law firm in Columbus, Ohio.
Sean is also a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League. He represents athletes through ELITE Sports and Entertainment Agency, LLC.
Education: Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a focus in African American Studies from the University of Cincinnati and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School. During his time at the University of Cincinnati he was a Coca-Cola Darwin T. Turner Scholar. He attended Capital University Law School on the Presidential Merit Scholarship.

In the Community: Sean is active in a number of community and professional organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.; 100 Black Men of Central Ohio; John Mercer Langston Bar Association; National Bar Association; American Association for Justice; Ohio Association of Justice; Columbus Bar Association; and the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association.
Sean is a member of the Board of Directors for the John Mercer Langston Bar Association, where he serves as Chairman of the Solo/Small Firm Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Capital University African American Law Alumni Association.
Currently, Sean is the lead attorney on an initiative to draft and propose new laws in Ohio pertaining to the police use of force and deadly force. He also lectures frequently on issues ranging from knowing your rights to how to properly document instances of excessive police force.
Family Life: Sean is married and lives with his wife Jennifer and newborn daughter Sabella Nile in Columbus, Ohio. Sean is a native of Dayton, Ohio.
