Paid a $100. retainer fee, and set up a phone appoint (within 1 week) to file along with $315. Was told several times chapter 13 final payments would be around $500 a month. Day of the phone call to file payment ended up being $1230 a month. That’s a big difference from $500. We rejected that, and as...ked about chapter 7. We were told we made too much. Never even tried to help us figure out how to make it work. Needless to say he made out on the $100, and now we’re looking for another attorney.
