Ex Parte and Affair

Ex Parte was issued October 18, 2017 during my divorce. Let me be clear that at that time I did not know or had ever heard of Ex Parte. The order gave my wife temporary custody of our sons. I contacted Catherine M. White immediately for clarification. Under her guidance and questioning of my wif...e the Order was reversed as the Magistrate found no grounds for the order. I could finally have some peace of mind for me and my sons. Her technique in the hearing was “to the point” when questioning my wife and left no doubt that the order should never have been issued. Affairs are a sad reality. Let me explain how this affects the entire family. I found out that my wife had been having affairs for up to 2 years prior to the divorce proceedings. When she filed for divorce I was unaware of any of the affairs. You ask how can that be? The simple answer is “trust”. All of the sorted facts came out during our separation. The final affair with Mr. X came as a Devastating shock to our small children and to me. She had Mr. X spending the night in our home when she had the boys. We were under the 2-2-5 agreement so she had long stretches of time in control of our house and our sons. She blandly had intimate relations with our sons in the marital residence which has changed them forever. She moved the boys to Mr. X’s home which caused the children stress and unsure of their future. Don’t let Catherine’s kind and loving demeanor fool you. She is a bulldog in court.

Highly Recommended!

I can't express how much I appreciate Catherine White. I started of my divorce case with a large law form. I was thinking this form was a power house. That this case would be over real quick! For I had already done most of the work and had already planned my exit. No kids, less than 2 years married n...o ties. Well a year and a half later. Still in the same divorce case no closer to being over. With a zero balance at our last court date yet another continues. And having paid over 3k already. I was charged $25 per phone call and $75 per email just to tell me he hasn't heard from opposing council. I was done. My lady told me about Catherine White. I called and set up and appointment. We sat down and talked. I told her about my case and that needed new council. My case should been over and I didn't have much money do to my last lawyer. She told me what she was going to do. What she needed from me. My bottom to start and what it would cost if it wasn't done by a realistic time frame. One continues later, the next court date. I have my divorce! Catherine walked thru the whole case with me best interest in mind. Catherine thank you! Never change your heart! I walked in a client and left feeling like a friend. P.s I had to say this. Our last meet at Cathrine's office. I was feel good about life cause me music career is growing. I was not worried but worried about this divorce being over soon. Catherine told time out to listen to my music. Then gave that look like, I got this. Wayne

Divorce

Catherine was wonderful since the day I walked in her office asking for counsel. I went through a ton with my ex husband with abuse and knew I had to take things into my hands before it was too late. She guided me through a custody battle with our children. Whenever I needed advice she didn’t hesitat...e to give it and explained anything to me that made no sense. It took about a year but with her by my side representing me it all worked out and I couldn’t have done it without her.

Custody case with Catherine M White

I worked with Catherine on establishing a shared custody agreement with my ex girlfriend. I had an hour long consultation, she accepted my case and was able to have it filed and reviewed by a judge in a reasonable time. My ex girlfriend had agreed to everything in advance, so our case was pretty pain...less. We have always had a good relationship so the process was completed with very little acrimony or spite. She explained the fee structure when she agreed to take my case. No hidden fees or extra unnecessary hours billed. REMEMBER: Filing fees are not a part of the attorney fees. She explained this multiple times. Here are some things future clients need to know: 1. Be prepared. Get all the documents requested as soon as possible. The longer you wait to get the longer things will take generally. 2. Don't let forget that your children and what is best for them. It is easy to let anger get in the way of what should be a peaceful process. 3. Things take time. The wheels of government turn pretty slow. Ask for timelines, she will provide them. they will be reasonable. Also remember that other lawyers can work at different paces, people can drag their feet. Be reasonable. 4. E-mail and phone communication can take 24 hours. Be prepared to understand that. If you send an e-mail on Friday night, she won't answer until the following work day. Catherine was competent and a pleasure to work with.

Divorce

This review is long overdue. My divorce was finalized last year, but up till that point I waivered back and forth about the decision I was making. That is one thing about Catherine, she will not misguide you. She will give it to you straight, regardless of how difficult it will be to hear. She made m...e and the family members I often brought around her feel comfortable and at ease. A professional and kind-hearted person, Catherine is the type of attorney that will have your back. One of my most memorable moments with her was when she called me and we talked on the phone for over a hour. Not only did I hire an great attorney, I also had an advocate that was on my side.
