Custody case with Catherine M White

I worked with Catherine on establishing a shared custody agreement with my ex girlfriend. I had an hour long consultation, she accepted my case and was able to have it filed and reviewed by a judge in a reasonable time. My ex girlfriend had agreed to everything in advance, so our case was pretty pain...less. We have always had a good relationship so the process was completed with very little acrimony or spite. She explained the fee structure when she agreed to take my case. No hidden fees or extra unnecessary hours billed. REMEMBER: Filing fees are not a part of the attorney fees. She explained this multiple times. Here are some things future clients need to know: 1. Be prepared. Get all the documents requested as soon as possible. The longer you wait to get the longer things will take generally. 2. Don't let forget that your children and what is best for them. It is easy to let anger get in the way of what should be a peaceful process. 3. Things take time. The wheels of government turn pretty slow. Ask for timelines, she will provide them. they will be reasonable. Also remember that other lawyers can work at different paces, people can drag their feet. Be reasonable. 4. E-mail and phone communication can take 24 hours. Be prepared to understand that. If you send an e-mail on Friday night, she won't answer until the following work day. Catherine was competent and a pleasure to work with.

Impeccable Service

When I first met with Catherine, (She wouldn't allow for me to call her Mrs. White) she spent a great amount of time with me giving me honest professional opinions on how things would play out in the end. I didn't feel like I was meeting with a typical Attorney. She made me feel at ease every step of... the way. I felt more like I was meeting with a family member that had a law degree. She gave me straight forward answers every step of the way. Not many attorneys will give you their cell phone number and if they do, answering your call is an entirely different story. Several times she answered the phone while she was at the Courthouse. She was available for me just about any time I needed her for reassurance. Most of our meetings were conducted sitting on a couch in a quaint office downtown without the stuffy feeling of sitting at a conference room in a busy office. She has a very sweet and caring disposition but also has the innate ability to put her foot down and demand respect when dealing with opposition. Clearly she is not one to be pushed around in a Court of Law. My case was very complicated and involved dealing with my ex-wife that was charged with an OMVI and 3 counts of child endangerment while transporting my 7, 5, & 3 year old children. It was by far one of the most traumatic events in my life and protecting my children from further harm was my first priority. She had a genuine concern for the safety of the children and my well-being. She often shared experiences about other clients with similar situations and it was very clear that she was very emotionally involved in those individuals. She takes a very genuine and caring approach to her clients. Her results and ethical approach when dealing with clients and opposition speak for themselves. I would recommend her to ANYONE. I can honestly say that my children are more safe today than they were a few short months ago. Thanks for all that you did Catherine!!

Simply Outstanding and Remarkable Attorney who cares for her client!

First time I met Ms. Catherine was for free consultation of a divorce case. The moment I met Ms. Catherine I knew she is my Attorney. I immediately hired her to represent my case. I am so glad that I made that decision. I and my wife is going to a rough marriage and My wife was insisting on divorc...e papers, so I asked Ms. Catherine to make me Separation Agreement and shared parenting plan. My wife now refuses to sign the papers and wanted me to file a divorce in court and get her notice served. When I told this to Ms. Catherine, She was like not a problem let’s do it. Ms. Catherine guided me and helped me at every step to understand the entire procedure. She gave great advice, and at time even played the role of friend and therapist. Ms. Catherine is very responsive to my calls, questions and concerns. All issues are handled professionally and timely. She is very flexible and when needed she had also called me outside her business hours to make sure my concerns are addressed by her on time. Ms. Catherine is honest, sincere, experienced, knowledgeable, confident and passionate attorney who will always speak truth and will fight for truth. My case is scheduled for Pre-Trial and I am confident with Ms. Catherine as my Attorney, I have absolute No fear. Ms. Catherine is simply outstanding! The quality services I received at Catherine M White are remarkable. I'm Lucky to have to have Ms. Catherine on my side. Thank you for all your help, support, timely guidance and much needed smiles and hugs.

Experienced, Knowledgeable, Professional, Affordable and Compassionate Divorce Lawyer.

After calling several law firms and getting poor responses and some were even rude and just about the money. I decided to try one more law firm- The Catherine M. White Law Offices. And I was glad that I did. Catherine is a great Lawyer. Not only is she professional and knowledgeable but, she is also ...compassionate and has a bubbly personality. She made a very stressful time in my life peaceful. From the 1st call to the last she has been kind and understanding. She made it very easy for me to trust her and went above and beyond to ensure the best results for me. She understood my pain. One of the things that stood out to me was, I called her on a Saturday night and she picked up...she listened to me and she gave me sound advise. She was not annoyed that I called her outside of her business hours, instead she was overly concerned. This is something you don't get from other law firms. I know she has many clients but she still managed to make me feel like I was her only client and and always gave me the VIP treatment. I appreciate her and have great respect for her. Trust me when I say you will not regret hiring her. Thank you Catherine! God bless you tremendously!

Fighting for custody of my son

Once I learned that my son had been a victim of severe abuse, neglect, and endangerment, I clearly realized I was going to file for custody of him. It all started when the boyfriend of my ex-wife died of a drug overdose in their home in front of my child. 3 weeks later my son disclosed to me that... one of the sons of the babysitter whom his mother had been taking him to for 2 years had molested him for the greater part of a year. I knew that my ex had issues but I never thought she would of put our son in harms way. And I later learned that she knew he was in harms way because she was aware that the oldest of the 3 sons that lived with the babysitter is a registered sex offender. As one can imagine, I was in panic mode. I spent many evenings after work searching for a good attorney through referrals and the web. And that's when I came across Catherine's website. Her site was the first thing that drew me in, and it did because I was able to fully relate to the content on her site as a father looking to gain custody of their child. Her site is informative, explanatory, and clear in her intent in wanting to genuinely help those in need of legal family law assistance. I called and we set up our initial consultation. At first meeting her, she was warm, inviting, and she helped put my mind at ease. After disclosing all that I had learned, we quickly moved forward as she explained the process, court proceedings/hearings, and what to expect as things progressed. We initially filed for emergency custody which we were denied. But at least filing initiated the process and it got negotiations started. As we pressed forward Catherine made sure that not only I was well informed in all that was occurring, she was available to me for any questions or concerns in a relatively timely manner. If I ever needed anything explained, or just wanted to talk, she was always there. Patient and thorough, Catherine always took the time to not only answer all my questions, but she always had an ear to lend. In over the course of 15 months, we had 5 to 7 hearings. Catherine was very involved with the entire process including speaking with and or emailing with all parties including the opposing party's attorney and the Guardian ad litem. She would always check in with me at least a few days before every hearing to make sure we were both well informed and on the same page. She always made me feel like she had mine and my sons best interest in mind. In the end, not only did she help me attain a better understanding of parents rights, I was able to also obtain a better understanding of the legal system. Catherine was always honest and upfront with me, even if it wasn't what I necessarily wanted to hear. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, honest, and passionate. It's attorneys like her who not only represent parents and their rights fairly, but she does it because she truly loves what she does. She was also more than fair in her fees as well. I am happy to say that I was granted full custody of my son. And I owe so much of it to Catherine and her representation. I'm forever grateful for her.
