I hired Mr. Blosser after a friend of his wife recommended him. I spoke with him over the phone and explained that I wanted to get a dissolution or possibly a divorce and that I noticed he was listed as a criminal defense attorney and wanted to make sure this was something he could do. He assured me ...that he was more than capable. It became quite clear over time, that he had no idea what he was doing. I wanted to give him a chance and I trusted him. He told me on 3 separate occasions that he filed the divorce papers with the county clerks office, and in fact lied on all 3 occasions. I called the clerks office several times after each time he claimed to have submitted the divorce papers, and they had never heard of him, and never received any divorce papers. His excuses were that the guy he paid to file for him, didn't do it. That it supposedly got lost in the mail. That he didn't fill one section out correctly and it got returned after several weeks. Every time he would supposedly file, he would tell me that he would be unavailable for an extended amount of time . This gave my spouse time to file for custodial parent and to receive child and spousal support. Finally I had to hire a different attorney, and of course he told me there was no money left from my retainer. So essentially I paid him thousands of dollars to do absolutely nothing. If I could have given him 0 stars or negative stars on this review, I would have. I cannot speak for his abilities as a criminal defense attorney, but I can speak for his inability to be an effective divorce attorney, and for his dishonesty. I would not recommend hiring this man to anyone.

Mr. Jeffery Blosser was court appointed to represent me out of Fairfield County, OH in 2012. To be honest, I was assuming he was just another lawyer who was going to go through the motions, and not help me in my fight for justice. Once Mr. Blosser sat down with me, heard the facts that I presented hi...m, he stood beside me and fought for my freedom. Mr. Blosser was able to negotiate a pre-trial settlement that I agreed with, but he also was willing to continue to fight on my behalf if I thought the agreement was not to my likening. If you are assigned Mr. Blosser to assist you in your case, I want you to know you have a solid individual protecting your freedoms. If you are looking to obtain an attorney, I would invest in this man.
