Back in 2001, he was my attorney. He sent me to prison for 3 years...for an argument. I was confident and wanted to go to trial. He encouraged me to take a plea deal of 3 years with 1 year mandatory. He blatantly lied and told me if I took the deal I would be eligible for early release in 2 months, b...ecause I sat in the county for 10 months. He never explained that mandatory time did not start until you were in custody of the department of corrections, not the county jail. That time does not count toward mandatory time. He didn't even prepare for trial..he just said someone was there to testify on me and that I should take the deal. He definitely did not have my best Interest in mind. I would not recommend
