After graduation from law school, Russell worked for a boutique estate planning firm until he opened his own practice not far from downtown Columbus in the Upper Arlington/Grandview area.  He has been hired to present seminars on Medicaid Planning for other attorneys and financial professionals as well as to speak to the members and retirees of the Ohio State Teachers Retirement System on retirement planning, elder law, and estate planning issues.

Russell resides in Upper Arlington with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Avery and Drew.
