Client needed to move to a nursing home due to declining health and was concerned with protecting her savings and home if possible. Client hired me to handle the Medicaid application process and dev ... elop a plan to save as much money as possible. In the end, we were able to spend money on exempt assets that improved her quality of life in the nursing home and protect her home by following the specific requirements to transfer it to an adult disabled child.
