Biography
I graduated from The University of Louisville in 1996 with a Degree in History and a minor in Spanish. I graduated from Louisville again in 2004 with a juris doctor and a Masters in Business Administration. I am also a State Approved Mediator and a Former Administrative Law Judge.
I spent six years working closely with the Parole Board and the Department of Corrections, so I am very familiar with Parole, Probation, Conditional Discharge, Interstate Compact. As a Criminal Defense Attorney, I have handled just about every kind of case imaginable.

Incompetent and expensive
Mr. Bates did not make half of the scheduled court hearings while I was incarcerated. He did not even attempt to have a bond hearing until 90 days of sitting in jail. I had a third party pay my attorney fees and he broke confidentiality by sharing sensitive information. This attorney’s fees are base...

Replied last June 27, 2022Tara: It is too bad that you feel this way. However, there are a few things you may be confused about. A third party who pays for services is entitled to know about financial issues. Contracts are typically produced and signed by the financially responsible party and any financial issues are discussed with that individual. I would never and have never shared any other details about a case without prior approval. Additionally, my fees are not on a sliding scale and I am not sure how you came to that conclusion. I am sorry that you are upset but I wish you nothing but the best in the future. Thanks, -E
