In more than 25 years of representing regular people, I've heard one message over and over: people just want to move forward. They want to move on from a broken marriage. They want to move past constant squabbles with a deadbeat co-parent. They want to overcome an injury caused by someone else's carelessness, and get back to the person they were before. And they want the help of a caring, experienced lawyer to help them navigate the legal issues involved in moving forward. That's why I started Reed Law Group: because I knew that I could apply my experience and my personal attention to move people forward. When I'm not working for my clients, I'm often working at trying to serve the community. That’s something I’ve done pretty much continuously since I started practicing law here in Bowling Green in 1999. I’ve served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center, and was President of that Board of Directors in 2003 and 2004. I’ve served as a director and officer of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association, and was President of that organization in 2016. I’ve been on Board of Directors (Secretary) of BG 26.2 & Half Marathon, Inc., and the Planning Committee (as Volunteer Coordinator, then P.R. Coordinator, and now Assistant Race Director) continuously since the race was first run in 2012, and while we’ve raised tens of thousands of dollars toward finding a cure for MS. I’ve also been a United Way volunteer, a coach of WKU’s Mock Trial Team, and a “bell ringer” for The Salvation Army. --- Outside of my professional and civic responsibilities, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Bonnie, and our three kids. I am a runner, an occassional cook and camper, and a devoted fan of the Bowling Green Hot Rods.

Since 2018, Ryan has seen me through so much. The complete ridiculousness of the case I brought to him has tried my patience- but he has been patient and knowledgeable throughout. Not just advising as a lawyer but at times talking as a friend, therapist, or the blunt voice of truth I needed to hear...
Thank you for your kind words, Jamie! We know the burden of a complicated family law case can test the patience of all involved, so we try to tailor our approach to provide an extra helping of what our clients may need in such trying times. Your recommendation means so much, and will surely help others with similar needs find their way to our door. Thanks again!

I had a custody case that involved CPS. His advice and expertise in what needed to be done helped me keep my daughter safe.

Ryan Reed is my fiancé’s attorney and we are extremely dissatisfied with his lack of care. From the start, communication has been a major issue. Calls, texts, and emails are rarely returned, leaving us in the dark about the status of his case. The paralegal, who should be managing his calendar and a...
