I had a complicated and sensitive custody case that involved criminal accusations. Being unknowledgeable and timid about how the law works, it required guidance that I do not feel I would have received from another attorney. My case(s) had already begun before I was able to hire Mr. Alford, but once ...on-board, his demeanor offered comfort in the midst of a terrible and scary time for me. He immediately went to work and began consultation with other agencies that were involved to help me resolve the situation and guide me through a very long, arduous process. I was very intimidated by all that was going on, but Mr. Alford and those in his office gave me hope where my experience with other attorneys had left me feeling lost. The entire staff is warm and friendly rather than stiff, detached, and overly professional like I had experienced with others prior to hiring Jeff; everyone made an effort to make me as a client feel comfortable. Because of the criminal accusations, it was difficult but Jeff fought to prove my case and I was cleared of any alleged misconduct. We won! Jeff saved my custody and my relationship with my child. I can never thank him enough. P.S. He's a pretty spiffy dresser too!

I chose the title "Rest Easy" because those two words were the best way to explain my experience with Alford Law office. I was beyond stressed with my divorce and custody of my child. Nothing seemed to "ruffle his feathers" he always handled every situation promptly.. For me that was such a relief that no words in this review could explain! Just know he had everything under control! He brought that personality and level of professionalism in the court room with him, which is the most important place in my opinion. Nothing causes more anxiety than a custody case in a court room. (Or at least not for me) Mr. Alford accomplished above and beyond what I expected of him, and with class. You will love his personality and honesty. He desires a client relationship with you to truly understand all dynamics of your case personally. I could type all day explaining how great Mr. Alford was for me and my family! His staff were also AMAZING! They are very understanding and you can tell they truly care. Each lady listened and promptly handled any and all things necessary. They are all excellent .. Like I said no words can explain. There is no doubt if you are reviewing to decide on which lawyer to choose from.. Alford Law Office is an excellent choice that you will not regret! From me to you.. We had an extremely adversarial divorce, which included domestic violence, criminal activity, and mental health issues. Mr.Alford listened to me, read documents that I had collected over the years, and came up with a course of action. At times, it was rather trying, and I was rather panicky. Mr. Alf...ord did his best to calm me and explain things to me. In the end, the most important things (my children) were more than protected and taken care of. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr.Alford to anyone that asks, and even some that don't.

Jeff came highly recommended and after our very first meeting I knew I had made the right choice. It was a very emotional time going through something that I knew nothing about. We have hired Mr Alford twice. We hired him first in 2009 to defend our son in a criminal case. He was very honest with all of us. Mr Alford was very easy to contact and returns our calls himself.
