I reached out to Attorney Kris Nevels about a case involving my adult son, and Mr. Nevels called me the very same day. After consulting with Attorney Nevels, I hired him to represent my son with this case because I knew right away that he knew the case law and he knew options that were at my son’s d...isposal. Mr. Nevels then told my son about a program that he could willingly enter into (rather than go to trial) and have the charges dismissed and expunged from his record immediately and avoid any fines and court costs as long as he completed the program. He then put my son in touch with the person who would help him to enter into this program. My son is in that program now and is fulfilling the requirements of the program. Again, the other two attorneys that I spoke with completely failed to even mention this program as an option. Attorney Nevels and this program official did appear in court with my son for his initial appearance to let the Judge know that this program would be the game plan for my son. The Judge agreed with Attorney Nevels and permitted them to proceed in this manner rather than taking the case to trial. If the case had gone to trial, I have total confidence that Attorney Nevels would have represented my son well and that his case would have still worked out in a favorable manner for my son. However, because of Mr. Nevels’ legal expertise, he was able to avoid trial and actually help my son to get the help that he needed. That’s a WIN-WIN! In sum, it is without hesitation or reservation that I would again hire Attorney Kris Nevels for any future legal representation that he is qualified to handle.
