Michael Edward Streich

I am a founding partner of Greenberg Streich Injury Lawyers in Houston, Texas, where I represent clients in catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout Texas. My practice focuses on oilfield and refinery explosions, offshore and maritime accidents, large commercial vehicle crashes, and serious workplace injuries.

Some of my significant victories include a $37.5 million wrongful death truck crash verdict in Dallas, Texas, a $16 million settlement for a Jones Act seaman injured while working offshore, a $5.8 million settlement for a construction worker injured on the job, and a $5.5 million settlement for a woman injured in a car crash. Since 2021 I've recovered nearly $100 million dollars my clients. 

Before I began representing injury victims, I spent nearly a decade defending corporations and major insurance syndicates—including Lloyd’s of London—in complex injury litigation. I also served in-house for an offshore construction company, advising on litigation and strategic matters. That experience gave me a rare insider’s understanding of defense tactics, which I now use to secure justice for individuals and families facing life-altering loss.

I grew up in Kingwood, Texas, earned my B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin—where I was a member of the Silver Spurs—and received my J.D., cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center, where I served as vice president of the Student Bar Association and competed on the mock trial team.

I am admitted to practice in all Texas state and federal courts.
